THE CABLE TELEVISION ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA is a non-profit trade association whose members joined together to advance the common interests of the cable industry in Georgia. Founded in 1968, CTAG maintains its office in Atlanta, the state capital.

CTAG’s membership includes some 40 cable companies that operate cable television systems serving over 2.1 million cable households in Georgia. CTAG also represents 85 Associate members comprised of corporations and firms with cable telecommunications industry interests.

The Association is governed by a 16-member Board of Directors comprised of cable executives from across the state. The Association maintains a full-time staff who brings knowledge, energy, and over four decades of collective experience to serving CTAG member companies and the cable industry in Georgia.

CTAG provides services specifically created to meet the diverse requirements of the various membership segments within the Association. Among the many services CTAG offers its members is representation before the Georgia General Assembly, state regulators and Congress on issues of importance to the industry. CTAG provides a continuous flow of information to its members through bulletins/newsletters and also coordinates public affairs programs for its members. CTAG acts as a clearinghouse for general information on the cable industry in Georgia and provides a link to the public through its cable consumer hotline.


The cable industry in Georgia....one of our state's most rapidly advancing and innovative technologies...is proud to be a major contributor to the growth of our state.
